Cuando bailo el tango.   Chiquilín.   Nostalgia.

Miguel Cantilo offers concerts which are musical voyages through
rhythm, harmonies and melodies representative of various Southern American culture today, displaying various styles ranging from tropical-flavoured beats to tango, from Brazilian samba to carnavalito de Los Andes.
A tireless traveler of his continent, Miguel Cantilo speaks about the reality and the people of the land he belongs to, not only through his music, but also by the lyrics.
Needless to say, rock can not be absent from the scenario, as it has been the artist´s recurrent source during the thirty years of his career as well as one of the most significant influence of all music genres over the Latin Americans.

In Argentina specially, The National Rock Movement has existed for 40 years and has managed to leave a profound influence over the new generation.
Miguel Cantilo is one of the pioneers of the Movement. Many of the hit records along the artist´s career have been included in his performances and compiled into the album recently released by EMI, “Clásicos”.

The album has involved the participation of more than a dozen singers much acclaimed locally and internationally interpreting duets on various themes with the original singers.

On the other hand, tributes are paid during his live concerts to modern tango and rock. The latter is made up of a fusion  with different South American styles.

Two of his sons, Anael and Sufián, are parts of the band. Both are identical twins; besides singing, one is in charge of the bass while the other plays the piano and the guitar. The group also counts on Juan Rodríguez, one of Argentinian´s best-known drummer as well as Omar Massa and Federico Pernigotti, the bandoneon and guitar players respectively, who are also responsible for eventual instruments.
