ALMANGO, "with all your heart and energy" in Tango slang, is a new band in which every member is a star in his own right. The music is a unique fusion of the expressive and sensual qualities of Tango music-and dance-with the rich rhythms and melodies of Rock and Roll. Such influences can be heard throughout their extensive discography and read about in almost every book recounting the history of music in South America. But it was not until now that they decided to develop a full Tango Rock fusion thanks to the invaluable contributions of Mark and David. Both born in the USA, and having performed and recorded with renown musicians as well as with their own projects, they brought their knowledge of Rock, Jazz and Latin music to complete ALMANGO's rich blend. Though predominantly Tango Rock, ALMANGO's original music also contains many elements of Latin and Jazz. Two professional dancers translate the sounds into movement. The lyrics, written in both English and Spanish, create an image that reflects all of the Americas.
